Infusionsoft’s Fax broadcasting provider will be performing maintenance on the two dates listed below. During these periods, scheduled faxes may not be delivered to recipients.
Maintenance Period:
November 26, 2011: 3:45 AM – 7:00 AM EDT
December 10, 2011: 3:45 AM – 7:00 AM EDT
During this period, faxes that are not sent properly will be listed as an “error” in Infusionsoft. Users may re-send faxes if they wish.
We have notified the users who would most likely be impacted by this maintenance. We will be working closely with our provider to ensure things run smoothly.
We will be performing maintenance on our upstream network access to improve performance. We don’t anticipate any customer-facing issues to result, but as a precaution, we’re letting you know about this routine maintenance period.
Our network provider will be performing planned maintenance on our equipment during the times listed below. We do not anticipate any outages to occur; however, it is expected that connectivity will likely be slower than normal.
During this period, it is possible your connection to Infusionsoft may be unavailable, but all services will remain online. If you are unable to access Infusionsoft outside of this maintenance period, please contact support at 1-866-800-0004.
After researching how our users use (and diving into forensics that keep us PCI-Compliant), we have blocked attempts to store credit cards into the application by means of contact/opt-in Web Forms. This change affects users who solicit their customers for financial information and they would intend to use it manually with a credit card terminal.
Using opt-in Web Forms to collect financial information places your customers, our users and our business at unwarranted risk. Web Form submissions store this contact-related data in differently than financial information. Potentially, this data is accessible to affiliates, employees and customers through relatively insecure means when it is submitted via an opt-in Web Form.
We updated our systems to discard data that looks like a credit card when submitted through Web Forms. We strongly recommend to only store financial information by means of the Order Forms or Shopping Cart. This benefits users by enabling them to run actions against credit cards such as automated billing.
How do you know if you are affected? If you use a regular Web Form for accepting credit card details. The form submission will otherwise be successful, but credit card numbers will not be saved to Infusionsoft.

When users attempt to send an email through the Broadcast Wizard, their email template appears blank. It is being caused by a minor Javascript glitch that our team is researching further and plans to resolve soon.
The workaround is to refresh (or reload) the page in your web browser. This can be done with the reload button on the address bar or pressing F5 on the keyboard. Mac users can press Command + Shift + R to reload their page.
The template will then appear and you can continue to send the email broadcast as intended.
